Dancers benefit from Character Dance which represents traditional folk or national dances. It is very much part of the classical repertoire and is seen in many classical ballet productions still widely performed today. Popular character adaptations for classical ballet include national dances of Hungary, Russia, Poland, Italy and Spain. Get back in shape after the holidays with a total body work out using the ballet barre. Class will include toning and strengthening exercises as well as an emphasis on posture, lengthening and stretching – all in the classical ballet setting using the barres. Some floor and center floor exercises will be included.
Any appropriate workout attire is acceptable to wear to the UltraBarre class.
